Jackie O font was inspired by the Elizabethan era during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Perhaps a little behind the rest of europe, it is a time that is referred to as the Golden Age or English Renaissance. It was lavish and indulgent with people proudly wearing their wealth. Garments had excessive adornments of pattern and fabric and was a unique, distinct style. This font embraces the adornment and characteristic of this era with charming flourishes and curves, but it is also refreshed and clean for our current age.
My personal identity used the font which was delicate and simplistic. The business cards were letterpressed to reflect the concept and the importance of craftmanship.
